The Foundation for Health Care Quality has long been home for collaboration across health care sectors and between competing organizations. Starting in January of 2025, we will also house the Washington Healthcare Forum’s Administrative Simplification program. This is a unique and long-standing public-private partnership designed to reduce the cost and complexity of information exchange within our health care system with lead organizations determined by the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
A large part of the Administrative Simplification program includes facilitating subject matter expert workgroups to reach consensus solutions that can take the form of best practice recommendations. Workgroups bring together health plans, public payers, hospitals, practices, and public policy makers to develop policies, best practices, and technology solutions in support of simplification.
